Veloteq electric power
assisted bicycles and other products are sold via an international network of Master Distributors and
Dealers. They are designed specifically to meet the needs of the North
American market. Master Distributors receive their product shipments directly from
the overseas Veloteq manufacturing facility. The minimum quantity per order is one
40'HC container to obtain Master Distributor pricing.
Master Distributors are also required to stock sufficient parts recommended by
Veloteq to support the repair and maintenance of the products that they sell.
Qualified Master Distributors receive protected territories and long term
distributor agreements. Distributors are required to develop and maintain
a network of retail dealers throughout their territories and to prepare sales
forecasts from time to time as required by Veloteq.
Shipments are calculated on the basis of
door-to-door container delivery directly from the Veloteq manufacturing
facility in China. All order tracking and export documentation
is performed by Veloteq in cooperation with the Customers' Customs Broker.
We insure that all products are properly marked and documented for import
purposes to
insure compliance with relevant requirements. Production time is 15 days
after receipt of order. Shipping to the West Coast requires 12-14 days, up
to 30 days for inland and East Coast destinations. Shipping costs and
Customs clearance expenses are the responsibility of the distributor.
Product design is the responsibility of
Veloteq's electrical and mechanical engineering staff. Thorough on-going inspection of the products is
conducted throughout the production operation. Loading
of the products into sealed containers for shipment to the port of embarkation
is under the watchful supervision of factory personnel.
All Veloteq products are approved for export by
the China Ministry of Trade and Industry after thorough inspection of all parts
and electrical components and comply with the most rigid standards applicable to
electric bicycles. They are government inspected in the factory.
Detailed records of each unit are maintained using the VIN number assigned to
each vehicle.
Veloteq electric bicycles require setup and
safety testing by qualified personnel prior to delivery to end users.
Internet sales are absolutely discouraged and shipment of Veloteq products to
a location beyond the distributor's assigned territory is not permitted.
Sales of Veloteq products on auction sites is not allowed and is a violation
of the Veloteq Distributor Agreement.
Dealers can purchase Veloteq
products from any Master Distributor in their area at wholesale prices.
